Washington's first graders have been working all week on identifying how young look like their parents. Today, Ag in the Classroom came to talk with us about farm animals - young and parents. We also learned how to identify them and what they produce for us.

Our theme in Guidance today was “Trustworthy.” Our 5th graders worked on creating their own quotes about honesty and integrity. Here they are! “If you lie, it has a way of coming back to you.” Everything you do results in either a good or bad outcome.” “The sky‘s not the limit, you’ll learn your limit.” “The more you lie, the easier more untrustworthy you become.” “The truth is like glass, break it and you’ll hurt yourself and others.” “Trust the inside of a person, not the outside.” “Be bright like a box of crayons, don’t show down.” “When in doubt, pinkies out.” “People are like curtains, they sometimes unfold by themselves but they just need someone to correct them and they’ll stop.” “If you never try, you can never trust.”
