While the little kids met Santa, the big kids helped as Santa’s elves. Many thanks to National Honor Society students Cooper Leibhart and Kalee Brosius for volunteering at Kids Fest Thursday evening at the Fox Theater.
Update on Battle on the Bricks for Friday, December 2nd:
Just wanted to reach out to everyone and let them know that the weather was not cooperative enough to have wrestling outside this year. We've decided to move it back to the high school. We will stay with something different and have it in the commons.

North Platte Public Schools is pleased to announce the selection of Shelly Byrn as the new head varsity volleyball coach for North Platte High School. Byrn is currently a physical education teacher at Eisenhower Elementary School. Coach Byrn brings extensive knowledge and experience to the program. In her 20 years of coaching, she has compiled a 388-188 coaching record and has made 4 State Volleyball tournament appearances. Coach Byrn believes strongly in core skill development and wants to provide an avenue for young adults to enhance their skills and values through sports.

North Platte Key Club has put up an Angel tree inside the high school to show some kindness to a couple of our elementary schools. If you would like to help out the teachers at Lake Maloney or Jefferson Elementary school please stop by, after school hours, and pick an ornament. Gifts can be dropped off at the high school main office and will be delivered to the schools on December 21st.
Mrs Saner's Culinary 2 class made pasta from scratch today. From dough to noodles... Tomorrow they're going to make pasta sauces for their noodles.
