Interested in taking the ASVAB Test on Tuesday, Oct. 4th? The ASVAB Test is a career exploration test to find out what your great at! This is a great FREE practice test for college SAT’s and gives you a great idea of possible career fields you could pursue after High School. Are you curious about what careers are out there that fit your interests and skills? The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Career Exploration Day on Wednesday, October 26th to do just that. You will be introduced to a variety of careers and get to participate in hands-on activities. Career fields include construction, health and human services, legal, educational, retail, manufacturing, and sales just to name a few. If you are a junior or senior and are interested, you can sign up in the counselor's office.
Are you interested in the medical field after graduation? The counseling department is taking a trip to visit Central Community College in Grand Island on Wednesday, November 2nd to check on the medical programs they have to offer.
