A: 5.11.22 will be the final day of attendance for the Class of 2022. Seniors must complete the check-out process and attend graduation practice in order to be eligible to walk at graduation.

A: If the ceremony is moved inside, due to poor weather, an automated phone call, text message, and email will go to families. Seniors will also receive an email with this same information to their school email accounts.

A: Yes, children will need tickets to attend if the event is moved indoors.
Q: Are tickets required to enter the commencement ceremony if it is held OUTDOORS?
A: No, tickets are only required if the ceremony is moved indoors, due to poor weather conditions.

Q: Will professional pictures be taken at the ceremony?
A: Yes, Nebraska Portraits will take photos of individual graduates after they have received their diplomas. Information about ordering these portraits can be found by contacting Nebraska Portraits (info@nebraskaportraits.com).
Q: When will the gates open for commencement?
A: Gates will open at 1:00 PM. Families are asked to enter through the EAST GATE if their student is sitting on the EAST SIDE (VISITOR SIDE) and the WEST GATE if their student is sitting on the WEST SIDE (HOME SIDE).
Q: How do families know which side to sit on?
A: At graduation practice on 5.11.22, students will be told if they are sitting on the EAST SIDE (VISITOR SIDE) or WEST SIDE (HOME SIDE).
Q: When should graduates arrive for commencement ceremonies?
A: Graduates should report to the NPHS commons no later than 1:15 PM on commencement day.
Q: How long will the graduation ceremony last?
A: Commencement will take approximately 1-hour to complete.
Q: What dress requirements are there for graduates?
A: Graduates should dress formally, yet comfortably for the ceremony.
Q: Which side do graduates wear the tassel on?
A: Graduates begin the ceremony with the tassel on the RIGHT side.
