DO you like chocolate? Mejia, Mentzer, Hartman and students going to Europe are selling "World's Finest Chocolate" for $1 a bar. Help support our trip by purchasing chocolate bars before or after school in rooms 2307, 2308, 1301 or from the students!
Pre-Med Club will be meeting in the Library tonight, November 18th at 7pm. We will have an orthopedic session with bone saws, ultrasounds, and more! See Elleigh Fisher or any of the other officers for questions.
There will be an FFA Meeting tonight, November 18th at 7:00pm in the Ag room. Hope to see all FFA members there!
EducationQuest will be presenting information about college financial aid. The information will include how to and why we should complete the FAFSA and what financial aid is available and how to search for it. The Financial Aid Night will be tonight, November 18th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Career Center at the high school. Snacks will be provided. SkillsUSA: We will have a meeting tonight, Nov. 18th at 7:00pm. We will discuss membership, competitions in April, community service projects and the Holiday party. A cosmetologist from the community will speak to us after the meeting in the electricity room after our meeting and there will be treats. They will talk to us about their profession, how they got started, advantages of that profession etc. Everyone is welcome to come listen to them.

Spanish students still interested in going to the Spanish concert on Dec. 3rd can still hand in their permission slip and $15 to any of the Spanish teachers before Thanksgiving Break.

North Platte High School will be hosting a panel of cosmetologists in the Career Center on the 9th of December at 9:00am for anyone that would like to attend. A sign-up email has been sent to all students, if you did not get that email and would still like to attend, contact Mr. Reed.
SENIORS: Local Scholarship Applications are available in the Counselor's Office!!! All completed applications are due back to the Counselor's Office by 3:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.
Sophomores who are interested in being considered for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Conference encouraged to stop by the Counselor's Office and see Mrs. Horne for more information. The HOBY seminar is designed for sophomores with demonstrated or potential leadership skills who would like to further develop their leadership abilities.
