DO you like chocolate? Mejia, Mentzer, Hartman and students going to Europe are selling "World's Finest Chocolate" for $1 a bar. Help support our trip by purchasing chocolate bars before or after school in rooms 2307, 2308, 1301 or from the students! 


 Prospective National Honor Society students--a reminder that applications are due Tuesday, November 16th by 3:45 p.m. to room 2104.


EducationQuest will be presenting information about college financial aid. The information will include how to and why we should complete the FAFSA and what financial aid is available and how to search for it. The Financial Aid Night will be on Thursday, November 18th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Career Center at the high school. Spanish students still interested in going to the Spanish concert on Dec. 3rd can still hand in their permission slip and $15 to any of the Spanish teachers before Thanksgiving Break. 



Are you interested in a career in cosmetology? North Platte High School will be hosting a panel of cosmetologists in the Career Center on the 9th of December at 9:00am for anyone that would like to attend.  A sign-up email has been sent to all students, if you did not get that email and would still like to attend, contact Mr. Reed.


Sophomores who are interested in being considered for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Conference encouraged to stop by the Counselor's Office and see Mrs. Horne for more information.  The HOBY seminar is designed for sophomores with demonstrated or potential leadership skills who would like to further develop their leadership abilities. 


Habitat for Humanity is looking for high school students to join their team & help build a hometown everyone can be proud of.  See your counselor for more information.


SENIORS: Local Scholarship Applications are available in the Counselor's Office!!! All completed applications are due back to the Counselor's Office by 3:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.
