If you are a junior or senior with a 3.6 GPA or above who would like to join National Honor Society, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 25th, in the Career Center at 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 



Globally, UNICEF is the largest buyer of mosquito nets which can be used to protect children from harmful insect bites. Malaria is an example of a disease which can be preventable through the use of a mosquito net. In 2006, UNICEF purchased 25 million of these mosquito nets.  How can you help?  Find a Key Club member and toss your spare change in their trick-or-treat box for our charity drive for UNICEF!


Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Wednesday, Oct. 27th at 8pm in the Dawg Pound.  Come join us for fun games and engaging conversations.  



SkillsUSA:  We will have a meeting on Thursday, Oct. 28th after school at 3:30pm in room 1720, electricity lab to plan for upcoming activities.



Join us for the Into the Woods Zombie Paintball Shoot Fundraiser to support our Colorguard on Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th from 7 - 11pm  All ages are welcome.  Ages 18 and under must have a parent present to sign a waiver.  $10 per person at Splatter Box Paintball in Hershey.

The NPHS Gay-Straight Alliance Club challenges you to step into a new situation that supports our local pride community. On Sunday, October 31st from 1-4PM, please help us celebrate tolerance with games, candy, and a costume contest at the Wild Bill's Fun Center back parking lot. Hope to see you all there!


Attention all 9-12th Grade Boys who are interested in trying out for basketball this season. There will be an informational meeting Monday Nov. 1st @ 3:30 pm in the PAC to discuss the start of the season.  This meeting is MANDATORY...Contact Coach Kaminski beforehand if you cannot attend.


Attention Seniors:  Mid-West Grads will be in the Commons on Wednesday, Nov. 10th from 11:00am - 1:00pm to take your graduation orders.   Listen to the High School Announcements for more information to come!!



Are you thinking about a future in the military?  The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am.  This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military.  Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.

SENIORS: Local Scholarship Applications are available in the Counselor's Office!!! All completed applications are due back to the Counselor's Office by 3:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.

                                                         

                                                                               

   

Please excuse the following students Monday, Oct. 25th for the District volleyball at Omaha South. They will need to be dismissed from class at 11:30am.  Bus/vans will leave at 12:00 noon. AND WHEN WE WIN.... We will stay the night and play Tuesday, win and Play on Wednesday. SO they could be absent on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. In case of a loss- we will return for school the next day:   Brooklyn Ayres, Emma Baade, Ellie Blakely, Kalee Brosius, Brookelyn Griffiths, Hallie Hamilton, Kylie Harvey, Sydney Hatch, Sedina Hayes, Michaela Madison, Breah Matuszczak, McKenzie Polk, Carly Purdy, Kylee Tilford  Jaden Ouderkirk and Carlie Bales may go, but might choose to stay to work.
