       Announcements for Friday, Oct. 22nd                                                                                                                                                                

NO SCHOOL  again today, Oct. 22nd!  North Platte High School will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences today, October 22nd from 7:45am – 11:45am.   If attending P/T Conferences, student Term 1 schedules will be available in the Main Office, Counselor's Office or by accessing it on Parent Portal.  A representative from Mid-Plains Community College will also be available in the Counselor's Office at this time to help answer any questions you may have about our Dual Credit classes.  

If you are a junior or senior with a 3.6 GPA or above who would like to join National Honor Society, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 25th, in the Career Center at 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Wednesday, Oct. 27th at 8pm in the Dawg Pound.  Come join us for fun games and engaging conversations.  

SkillsUSA:  We will have a meeting on Thursday, Oct. 28th after school at 3:30pm in room 1720, electricity lab to plan for upcoming activities.

Join us for the Into the Woods Zombie Paintball Shoot Fundraiser to support our Colorguard on Friday, October 29th and Saturday, October 30th from 7 - 11pm  All ages are welcome.  Ages 18 and under must have a parent present to sign a waiver.  $10 per person at Splatter Box Paintball in Hershey.

Attention all 9-12th Grade Boys who are interested in trying out for basketball this season. There will be an informational meeting Monday Nov. 1st @ 3:30 pm in the PAC to discuss the start of the season.  This meeting is MANDATORY...Contact Coach Kaminski beforehand if you cannot attend.

Attention Seniors:  Mid-West Grads will be in the Commons on Wednesday, Nov. 10th from 11:00am - 1:00pm to take your graduation orders.   Listen to the High School Announcements for more information to come!!

Are you thinking about a future in the military?  The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am.  This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military.  Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.

SENIORS: Local Scholarship Applications are available in the Counselor's Office!!! All completed applications are due back to the Counselor's Office by 3:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.
