Spanish students interested in attending the Spanish Concert MUST turn in their permission slip and money by today, October 19th. see your teacher for information.
There will be an FFA Meeting today, October 19th, at 7:00pm in the Ag room. We will be handing out chapter t-shirts and having a pumpkin painting contest!
Taking a Dual Credit class Term 2? A Mid Plains Community College Representative will be in the Counselor's Office today, Oct. 19th to help you with all your Dual Credit registration needs.
Any student interested in participating on the North Platte Speech Team for the 2021-2022 season there will be a short meeting today, Oct 19th at 2:29pm in room 1101. We will be discussing activities for this season. If you cannot attend please contact Mr. Cooper or Miss Adams.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet tomorrow, Oct. 20th at 8 pm in the Dawg Pound. Come join us for fun games and engaging conversations.
Seniors and Juniors! Are you interested in attending UNK? Would you like a chance to see the campus? On October 27th you can join us on a college visit to UNK! Please sign up in the counseling office by tomorrow, October 20th. Space is limited.
North Platte High School will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 21st from 1pm – 8pm and again on Friday, October 22nd from 7:45am – 11:45am. If attending P/T Conferences, student Term 1 schedules will be available in the Main Office, Counselor's Office or by accessing it on Parent Portal. A representative from Mid-Plains Community College will also be available in the Counselor's Office at this time to help answer any questions you may have about our Dual Credit classes.
If you are a junior or senior with a 3.6 GPA or above who would like to join National Honor Society, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 25, in the Career Center at 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Join us for the Into the Woods Zombie Paintball Shoot Fundraiser to support our Colorguard on Friday, October 29th and 30th from 7 - 11pm All ages are welcome. Ages 18 and under must have a parent present to sign a waiver. $10 per person at Splatter Box Paintball in Hershey.
NPHS Student Council Canned Food Drive will be from Monday, Nov. 1st to Friday, Nov. 5th (4:00pm). This event brings in tens of thousands of food items for North Platte and Lincoln County food banks. These food items are made available to families in need here in our area only. These families include friends, neighbors, and fellow classmates. Point totals have been assigned to all foods. A list with the point totals will be distributed to each teacher and will be posted around the school, or they can be picked up from Mr. Bruck in room 2201. Start collecting today!!!

Are you thinking about a future in the military? The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am. This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military. Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.
