Taking a Dual Credit class Term 2? A Mid Plains Community College Representative will be in the Counselor's Office Monday, Oct. 18th and Tuesday, Oct. 19th to help you with all your Dual Credit registration needs.
Any student interested in participating on the North Platte Speech Team for the 2021-2022 season there will be a short meeting Monday, Oct 18th at 3:33pm or Tuesday, Oct 19th at 2:29 in room 1101. We will be discussing activities for this season. If you cannot attend please contact Mr. Cooper or Miss Adams.
For any NPHS Student interested in joining the 2021-22 Swim and Dive team, there will be a sign up and informational meeting on Monday, Oct. 18th in room 1514. There will be handouts important for the upcoming season. See you all then!
Spanish students interested in attending the Spanish Concert MUST turn in their permission slip and money by Tuesday, October 19th. see your teacher for information.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Wednesday, Oct. 20th at 8 pm in the Dawg Pound. Come join us for fun games and engaging conversations.
Seniors and Juniors! Are you interested in attending UNK? Would you like a chance to see the campus? On October 27th you can join us on a college visit to UNK! Please sign up in the counseling office by October 20th. Space is limited.
North Platte High School will be having Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, October 21st from 1pm – 8pm and again on Friday, October 22nd from 7:45am – 11:45am. If attending P/T Conferences, student Term 1 schedules will be available in the Main Office, Counselor's Office or by accessing it on Parent Portal. A representative from Mid-Plains Community College will also be available in the Counselor's Office at this time to help answer any questions you may have about our Dual Credit classes.
If you are a junior or senior with a 3.6 GPA or above who would like to join National Honor Society, there will be an informational meeting on Monday, October 25, in the Career Center at 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Join us for the Into the Woods Zombie Paintball Shoot Fundraiser to support our Colorguard on October 29th and 30th from 7 - 11pm All ages are welcome. Ages 18 and under must have a parent present to sign a waiver. $10 per person at Splatter Box Paintball in Hershey.
Attention Seniors: Mid-West Grads will be in the Commons on Wednesday, Nov. 10th from 11:00am - 1:00pm to take your graduation orders. Listen to the High School Announcements for more information to come!!
Are you thinking about a future in the military? The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am. This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military. Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.
SENIORS: Local Scholarship Applications are available in the Counselor's Office!!! All completed applications are due back to the Counselor's Office by 3:30p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.
