Join us for the North Platte Play Production of Clue.   The show is Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. Join us to see Clue and try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!   The show will be presented on Tuesday, Oct. 5th at 7:30pm, Wednesday, Oct. 6th at 4:30pm and Thursday, Oct. 7th at 7:30pm in the North Platte High School Performing Arts Center.    Cost is $5 for students and adults.   No activity cards will be accepted.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet on Wednesday Oct. 6th at 8 pm in the Dawg Pound.  Come join us for fun games and engaging conversations.  




Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics:  If you have an interest in STEM or a desire to learn more about Engineering, at the University of Nebraska, have we got a deal for you.  Richard McNeel and the Dean of Admissions of the University of Nebraska Engineering Department will be presenting in the PAC on Thursday, October 7th from 9-10am.   If you have an interest, you are encouraged to attend this amazing presentation that highlights some VERY HEFTY scholarships provided by Mr. McNeel, directly to students attending North Platte High School.  We hope to see a great turnout!  Please see Mr. Reed in Room 2512 for more information.

Are you interested in traveling abroad?  Rotary districts around the world offer high school students an opportunity to experience other cultures.  Rotary District 5630 Youth Exchange is now taking applications for the 2022-23 school year.  If interested, the application and documents can be found at www.5630rye.org and are due by October 15, 2021 or see your counselor for more information.


Sophomores who are interested in being considered for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Conference encouraged to stop by the Counselor's Office and see Mrs. Horne for more information.  The HOBY seminar is designed for sophomores with demonstrated or potential leadership skills who would like to further develop their leadership abilities. 


The World Languages department is hosting a Spanish music concert featuring  Edgar Rene on November 3, 2021.  The concert costs $15 and students must be passing their classes to attend.  The concert will begin at 10am and end around 11:30, with time afterwards for photos and autographs.  This is a fun and educational opportunity for students.  Please contact your Spanish teacher if you are interested.  You must have turned in the form and money by Friday, October 22, 2021.

Are you thinking about a future in the military?  The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am.  This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military.  Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.
