Hey North Platte High Seniors! It is time to nominate your top five for Homecoming King and Queen! The link will be in your email. You will have today, September 16th to select your candidates!


National Honor Society will have a meeting in the Career Center after school today, Sept. 16th.   It will be brief.




The Pre Med Club will be meeting today, September 16th at 7:00pm in the Career Center.  For anyone who is interested in learning how to suture- we will be having a suturing class taught by Dr. Wray.  If you have any questions please contact Elleigh Fisher or any of the other officers.



Student Council is hosting a Tailgate Party north of the football field tomorrow, September 17th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm to celebrate Bulldog Football!  For just 5 dollars, you can have yourself a tasty meal to give you energy as you head on out to cheer on the Bulldogs!! All proceeds will go to the Make-a-Wish foundation! We hope to see you there!


There will be a meeting after school on Monday, September 20th in room 1514 for all students interested in being a part of Unified Bowling. If you are not able to attend, please email Mrs. Matuszczak.



There will be an FFA Meeting Tuesday, September 21st, at 7:00pm in the Ag room. All members and anyone interested in joining the chapter should be there!



Señoras Hartman and Mejia are organizing a trip to Europe in June 2023.  We will travel throughout various parts of France and Spain.  This is a great opportunity to see new places and practice speaking another language! An informational meeting will be held in room 2308 at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.  Please come and learn more about this amazing opportunity. 


Dance guest permission forms are now available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.  ALL forms are due back no later than 4:00pm on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd.  Remember, ALL fines and fees must be paid prior to picking up a form. 


Any Senior who did not have a senior banner done this summer and would still like a banner you can come and have your picture taken on picture retake day on Thursday, September 23rd in the morning. If you have any questions please contact Nebraska Portraits.



Are you interested in traveling abroad?  Rotary districts around the world offer high school students an opportunity to experience other cultures.  Rotary District 5630 Youth Exchange is now taking applications for the 2022-23 school year.  If interested, the application and documents can be found at www.5630rye.org and are due by October 15, 2021 or see your counselor for more information.


The World Languages department is hosting a Spanish music concert featuring  Edgar Rene on November 3, 2021.  The concert costs $15 and students must be passing their classes to attend.  The concert will begin at 10am and end around 11:30, with time afterwards for photos and autographs.  This is a fun and educational opportunity for students.  Please contact your Spanish teacher if you are interested.  You must have turned in the form and money by Friday, October 22, 2021.

Are you thinking about a future in the military?  The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am.  This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military.  Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.
