Hey North Platte High! It is time to nominate your peers for Homecoming King and Queen! The link will be in your email. You will have today, September 13th and tomorrow, September 14th to cast your nominations!
All 9-12th Boys not playing a fall sport & interested in playing basketball this season: Fall Open Gyms will begin Tuesday, Sept. 14 @ NPHS. It will be open Tuesday & Thursday nights 8:00-9:15 pm. till November.
All athletes that earned a Power Club T-shirt or were in the Perfect Club from Summer Strength & Conditioning, need to report to the Dawg House immediately after school on Wednesday, Sept 15th. We will hand out t-shirts and take a picture of the Perfect Club.
The Environment Club is still accepting new members. We will have another working meeting on Thursday morning, Sept. 16th. Meet in room 2209. Hope to see you there!
National Honor Society will have a meeting in the Career Center after school on Thursday. It will be brief.
Señoras Hartman and Mejia are organizing a trip to Europe in June 2023. We will travel throughout various parts of France and Spain. This is a great opportunity to see new places and practice speaking another language! An informational meeting will be held in room 2308 at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Please come and learn more about this amazing opportunity.
Dance guest permission forms are now available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger. ALL forms are due back no later than 4:00pm on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd. Remember, ALL fines and fees must be paid prior to picking up a form.
Are you interested in traveling abroad? Rotary districts around the world offer high school students an opportunity to experience other cultures. Rotary District 5630 Youth Exchange is now taking applications for the 2022-23 school year. If interested, the application and documents can be found at www.5630rye.org and are due by October 15, 2021 or see your counselor for more information.
The World Languages department is hosting a Spanish music concert featuring Edgar Rene on November 3, 2021. The concert costs $15 and students must be passing their classes to attend. The concert will begin at 10am and end around 11:30, with time afterwards for photos and autographs. This is a fun and educational opportunity for students. Please contact your Spanish teacher if you are interested. You must have turned in the form and money by Friday, October 22, 2021.
Are you thinking about a future in the military? The ASVAB Test will be given on Monday, November 15th at 8:40am. This is a free test and is important for anybody considering a career in the military. Sign up in the Counselor's Office with Mrs. Schumacher if interested.
Please excuse the following students on Monday, September 13th, for the freshman volleyball game at Sidney. They will need to be dismissed from class at 1:30pm.
