North Platte High School Announcements for Wednesday, April 21st


The College Ready Rally is under way! Make sure to grab some tickets during lunch or in the counseling office so you can ask teachers and staff members about their college going experience. The more teachers and staff you ask the more entries you get into winning some cool college ready gear! All College Ready Rally tickets must be dropped off  in the counseling office by the end of the day tomorrow, April 22nd. Everyone can play from Freshman to Senior! And, there is no limit to how many entries you can have, so grab some tickets and get asking! 



There will be a short meeting for those planning to try out for volleyball in August tomorrow, April 22nd right after school. We will hand out calendars and talk about camps and open gyms.  Hope to see you there!!



Guest permits for Prom are still available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.  They are due back no later than today, April 21st @ 4:00 PM.   Prom tickets are also available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.    Tickets are on sale now through Friday, April 23rd between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Please remember that all Fees & Fines have to be paid in the Activities' Office before guest permits can be picked up or a ticket can be purchased.   All NPHS students must have their school I.D. to enter the dance.  An online COVID screener will be required prior to Thursday, April 22nd @ 11:59pm.  Ticket prices are $20 for anyone attending Prom. 




Prom Picture Packet information is also available in the Main Office.   Cash and checks are preferred.  Please make checks out to: Nebraska Portraits.




There will be a community litter clean-up at Iron Horse City Park on Sunday, April 25th, at 3pm.  This event is open to anyone that wants to participate.  Bring your family and friends.  There will be a picnic afterward.  This activity is sponsored by the NPHS Environment Club and Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful. Looking for a night of fun for you and your family? Need a date night? Or just a way to get out of the house? Good news, for just $5 per person you and your family could attend the drama departments presentation of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory Next Week, Monday April 26th and Tuesday April 27th. We have two shows each night. Perfect for your younger kids. The early show is at 5:30pm and the second is at 7:30pm! Can’t wait to see you there!



Information for Senior Speaker tryouts for Graduation is available from Mr. Cooper in room 1101 before or afterschool.     Students have until Thursday, April 29th at 3:00 p.m. to submit senior speaker information.     For more information please contact Mr Cooper.


  


Attention seniors!  

  • If you ordered graduation announcements or accessories from MidWest Grads and have not picked them up yet please do so as soon as possible in the Counselor's Office.  Caps and gowns will be distributed at graduation practice.  
  • Seniors are also reminded to request a final transcript to be sent to the college you plan on attending.  This can be done with Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.
