There will be a short Basketball meeting for ALL GIRLS grades 9-11  tomorrow, April 14th @ 2:30pm in Coach Hammonds Room (1404).  We will hand out our June Calendar and discuss Summer Plans.  All girls must attend.  Please Contact Coach Hammond with Questions.


NPHS! Applications for students who are interested in running for a Student Council Representative position  are due to Mrs. Streeter in the Activities’ Office by 3:45pm tomorrow, April 14th. Voting will take place Thursday, April 15th & Friday, April 16th.  It’s going to be a great year!  



National Honor Society Inductees and Officers, there will be a mandatory induction practice tomorrow, April 14, at 7:30 a.m. in the PAC.



Did you fill out a bracket for the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament only to have it busted in the first round?  The music department is giving you a chance to totally redeem yourself!  The 2022 musical has been selected and we have created a tournament bracket to see if you can pick the winner!  You will have until Friday, April 16th to fill out your brackets and the "tournament" will commence next week!  Follow us on Twitter at @NPHSMusical for live updates!  You can pick up brackets in Mrs. Purdy's room (1617) or in the office.  Completed brackets should be returned to Room 1617.  Prizes WILL be awarded and the tournament is open to ALL students and staff!!  Let's see if we can crown a NPHS Musical Tournament Champion!

Nomination forms for Prom Royalty can be picked up in the Activities Office.  Forms are due back to Mrs. Streeter by 3:30pm on Friday, April 16th. No late applications will be accepted!



Guest permits for Prom are still available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.  They are due back no later than Wed., April 21st @ 4:00 PM.   Prom tickets are also available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.    Tickets are on sale now through Friday, April 23rd between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Please remember that all Fees & Fines have to be paid in the Activities' Office before guest permits can be picked up or a ticket can be purchased.  All NPHS students must have their school I.D. to enter the dance.  An online COVID screener will be required prior to Thursday, April 22nd @ 11:59pm.  Ticket prices are $20 for anyone attending Prom. 


There will be a community litter clean-up at Iron Horse City Park on Sunday, April 25th, at 3pm.  This event is open to anyone that wants to participate.  Bring your family and friends.  There will be a picnic afterward.  This activity is sponsored by the NPHS Environment Club and Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful. Attention seniors!  

  • If you ordered graduation announcements or accessories from MidWest Grads and have not picked them up yet please do so as soon as possible in the Counselor's Office.  Caps and gowns will be distributed at graduation practice.  
  • Attention Seniors: If you have received a scholarship or award, and would like it recognized at Senior Awards Night on Thursday, April 29th and printed in the commencement program, please bring a copy of your notification to Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office. (All scholarships can be turned in for recognition even if you don't plan on attending the college that awarded the scholarship.) All awards and scholarships need to be turned in by Friday, April 16th.  A list of qualifying seniors has been posted on the bulletin board next to the Counselor's Office.  Please check to see if you qualify. If you have any questions or don't see your name on the list and you think it should be please see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office as soon as possible.
  • Seniors are also reminded to request a final transcript to be sent to the college you plan on attending.  This can be done with Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.
