North Platte High School Announcements for Monday, April 12th
All 9-11th boys planning to play basketball next season... There will be a meeting Monday, April 12th @ 7:30pm in the Career Center to discuss off-season plans. If you cannot attend contact Coach Kaminski.
Mrs. Allen's Rome Tour has a mandatory meeting on Monday, April 12th at 3:30pm in room 2303. See you there!!
Attention anyone interested in running for Key Club officer next year--your applications are due TUESDAY, APRIL 13th, no exceptions! Applications are available in the teacher formerly known as Briscoe's room, 1405. Also, don't forget there will be a Key Club Meeting on Tuesday April 13th at 7:45am, also in 1405.
NPHS! Applications for students who are interested in running for a Student Council Representative position are due to Mrs. Streeter in the Activities’ Office by 3:45pm Wednesday, April 14th. Voting will take place Thursday, April 15th & Friday, April 16th. It’s going to be a great year!
Nomination forms for Prom Royalty can be picked up in the Activities Office. Forms are due back to Mrs. Streeter by 3:30pm on Friday, April 16th. No late applications will be accepted!
Guest permits for Prom are available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger. They are due back no later than Wed., April 21st @ 4:00 PM. Prom tickets are also available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger. Tickets will be on sale from Monday, April 12th through Friday, April 23rd between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please remember that all Fees & Fines have to be paid in the Activities' Office before guest permits can be picked up or a ticket can be purchased. All NPHS students must have their school I.D. to enter the dance. An online COVID screener will be required prior to Thursday, April 22nd @ 11:59pm. Ticket prices are $20 for anyone attending Prom.
There will be a community litter clean-up at Iron Horse City Park on Sunday, April 25th, at 3pm. This event is open to anyone that wants to participate. Bring your family and friends. There will be a picnic afterward. This activity is sponsored by the NPHS Environment Club and Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful. See Mrs. Malmkar for more information.
Attention seniors!
- If you ordered graduation announcements or accessories from MidWest Grads and have not picked them up yet please do so as soon as possible in the Counselor's Office. Caps and gowns will be distributed at graduation practice.
- Did you receive a scholarship? If so, please notify Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor’s Office of the exact name and amount of the scholarship. This information is needed no later than Friday, April 16th so the senior student can be recognized at Senior Awards Night on Thursday, April 29th and in the commencement program.
- Seniors are also reminded to request a final transcript to be sent to the college you plan on attending. This can be done with Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.
