North Platte High School Announcements for Thursday, April 8th

NPHS! Applications for students who are interested in running for a Student Council Representative position are due to Mrs. Streeter in the Activities’ Office by 3:45pm Wednesday, April 14th. Voting will take place Thursday, April 15th & Friday, April 16th. It’s going to be a great year!
Attention seniors!
- If you ordered graduation announcements or accessories from MidWest Grads and have not picked them up yet please do so as soon as possible in the Counselor's Office. Caps and gowns will be distributed at graduation practice.
- Did you receive a scholarship? If so, please notify Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor’s Office of the exact name and amount of the scholarship. This information is needed no later than Friday, April 16th so the senior student can be recognized at Senior Awards Night on Thursday, April 29th and in the commencement program.
- Seniors are also reminded to request a final transcript to be sent to the college you plan on attending. This can be done with Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.

Try-Outs for the 2021-2022 NPHS Colorguard will begin with practices starting Monday, April 12th at 6:45am in the Dawg Pound Gym and continue each morning through April 21st with Final Try-Outs being held Wed. the 21st at 3:45pm. Try-Outs are open to any student 9th-12th. Hope to have a great turn out for another Superior year!! Any questions contact Coach Shannon Hudson by email or Mr. Bradley in the band room.
All 9-11th boys planning to play basketball next season... There will be a meeting Monday, April 12th @ 7:30pm in the Career Center to discuss off-season plans. If you cannot attend contact Coach Kaminski.
Guest permits for Prom are available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger. They are due back no later than Wed., April 21st @ 4:00 PM. Please remember that all fines and fees must be paid to the Activities Office prior to picking up a form.
There will be a community litter clean-up at Iron Horse City Park on Sunday, April 25th, at 3pm. This event is open to anyone that wants to participate. Bring your family and friends. There will be a picnic afterward. This activity is sponsored by the NPHS Environment Club and Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful. See Mrs. Malmkar for more information.
