North Platte High School Daily Announcements for Friday, Sept. 13th

one act playThere will be an informational meeting for all students interested in auditioning for this year's competition One Act in Mrs. McDaniel's room, 1403 afterschool on Monday, September 16th.  Whether you are interested in being onstage or helping with running crew and tech, please plan to be there.

a green sticker that says all are welcome here on a blue backgroundThe High School/Middle School Circle of Friends will have their first meeting on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:00pm at Adams in room 310.  Circle of Friends is an inclusion program for all students.  It is based around students with disabilities to help promote understanding and acceptance of differences on school campuses and within the community, while decreasing bullying and making a significant social impact.  We will have COF meetings on Tuesday evenings at 6:00.  During the meetings we discuss and role play appropriate social behaviors and just get to know each other.  Some of the activities we have participated in are bowling, movies, dining out, attending the high school musical, attending sporting events, working concession stands, helping with the Autism Carnival, and other community activities.  If you are interested in joining, please contact Mrs. Henne at Adams in room 310 or at jhenne@nppsd.org

dragonReminder: The next Dungeons and Dragons meeting will be Tuesday, September 17th after school in the library. Hope to see you there!

FCAFellowship of Christian Athletes is kicking off the fall season with an all you can eat pancake feed on Thursday, September 19th starting at 7:00 a.m. at  First Baptist Church. Come join us for pancakes and sausage and a good time! 

homecomingHomecoming is a week away! Tickets are still available in the main office! 

$10 for NPHS Students and $15 for Guests.

Just a reminder that final voting for queen and king will start Monday, September 16th and  voting will end at 4:00 pm on Tuesday Sept. 17, 2024. Final voting will be open to all NPHS staff as well at the senior class

  • Join us Wednesday night at the Downtown Pep Rally, Sept. 18, 2024 for the reveal of the 2024 King and Queen. 

  • Monday is the kick off to spirit week! Find a twin and show off your bright colors! 

Teachers don’t forget about the pod or doorway decorating contest!

Voting will take place next Thursday!
