The Chess Club will meet on Tuesday, April 9th in Mr. Seybold's Room 1205 right after school. Hope to see you there.

Senior Signing Day will be held on Wednesday, April 10th @ 2:30pm in the high school gym.  See Mr. Joneson in the Activities Office as soon as possible if you are signing and plan to participate in this event.

The Drama and Dessert put on by the speech team has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 11th @ 7:00 p.m. in the high school commons.  Free-will donations will be accepted that evening to support the speech team's community service project For the Love of Paws.

If you are interested in participating in intramural basketball, please contact Ms. Cepel. It is a great way to get involved and play fun, leisurely games with friends. Team sign-ups will be due April 12th by 4:00pm.

Do you want to be a member of North Platte High's Student Council? Applications for next year's Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who are interested in running for a Student Council representative position are available, Monday, April 8th, from Mr. Bruck’s room.  Please make sure you grab the correct application as each grade is a different color.  Completed applications are due to Mr. Bruck in room 2201 by 3:45 pm on Friday April 19th.  Late submissions will NOT be accepted. 

Are you interested in the world of medicine? Do you like being around sports? If so, consider being a part of the sports medicine internship program here at school. Tom is currently taking applicants for the 2024-2025 school year. See Tom in his office between the locker rooms after school on any weekday for more information or send him an email. 

Prom will be held Saturday, April 20th from 8:00 -11:30 PM 

Prom Royalty forms are available in the Main Office. These forms are due back to Mrs. Hasenauer in room 2407 by 3:30 Friday, April 12th.

• Guest Forms and Prom Tickets are available from Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office! 

• All fines and fees must be paid prior to picking up a form or purchasing a prom ticket! 

• All guest forms are due back no later than 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17th

• Prom tickets will cost $15.00 for Juniors and Seniors and $25.00 to those who are from out of the district or invited as a guest by an upperclassman.

Reminder:  Dual Credit representatives will be in the Counselor's Office Conference Room every Monday for the rest of the year from 8:00am - Noon.  Be sure to see them if you have any questions about your Dual Credit classes.   In addition to dual credit help, MPCC representatives can help you with general college advising such as seeing if your dual credit college credits transfer to in-state and out of state colleges, seeing if a college offers a program you are interested in, and more. 

Attention Seniors: If you have received a scholarship or award, and would like it recognized at Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, April 30th and printed in the commencement program e-mail your information to Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.  All award and scholarship information needs to be turned in by Friday, April 19th. A list of seniors to be recognized has been posted on the bulletin board next to the Counselor's Office. If you have any questions or don't see your name on the list and you think it should be please see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office as soon as possible.

Undergraduate Awards Night will be held on Monday, May 13th for all 9th, 10, 11th grade students with a qualifying GPA at the end of Term 3. A list of qualifying students has been posted next to the Counselor's Office door. Please check to see if you qualify. If you have any questions or don't see your name on the list and you think it should be please see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office as soon as possible.
