Congrats to our fundraising top students!! Because of your help , our Cards for a Cause brought in additional PTO funds. Between the Change Wars and this fundraiser, we've earned enough money to purchase adjustable basketball hoops for the playground!! We are grateful for our McDonald families and our PTO for all of their support!

What is the number one factor of student success? Answer: Instructional quality and delivery style. This month we have been reflecting upon student readiness, learning goals, and student buy-in. For some of us , playing learning target bingo brought out the competitive side. #staffPD #staffcollaboration #getyourteachon

Mrs. Rowley's class compared strengths and weaknesses of multiple design solutions. Students had to go through the design process to build a tower out of spaghetti noodles to hold marshmallows on top. There was a lot of creative ideas!

We couldn't let Custodian Appreciation Day go by without giving a shout- out to Big Dan and Cole ! So thankful to have these two as part of our school family. So much pride in all that they do! They make McDonald "spotless." and we are grateful for who they are and what they do for all us each and every day.

The 2nd graders learned about Ancient Greek and the Olympic Games this past week. On Friday, we had our own Olympic Games! Students made flags and torches for their teams. They participated in 5 events; trivia, long jump, relay, football toss, and 3 legged race. They all showed great sportsmanship! 🥇
