Kindergarten had tons of fun today making shelters for our marshmallows! We have been learning about how the sun gives us light and heat. Today we made structures out of different materials that we could use to shade the marshmallows from the suns heat. We will test them tomorrow and see how much shade we have!

Congratulations to the seven 4th and 5th grade Jefferson students who auditioned for and were selected to participate in the Sing Around Nebraska Honor Choir. The students performed in a 150 member choir along with students from all North Platte Elementary Schools, Madison Middle School, and schools from the surrounding areas. Thank you, Jefferson students, for representing our school with your amazing talent and character!

NPHS Cheer is excited to be hosting our Winter Cheer Clinic on Saturday, January 22nd from 9am-12pm. The cheer clinic is open to all students in grades K-5. Cost is $35 and includes the clinic, t-shirt, craft and snack!
