Eisenhower 4th and 5th grade classes had a special visitor this November. Miss Courtney Pelland, who was voted 2022 Miss Capital City in Lincoln, shared her experiences of growing up with the classrooms. The subject of bullying was the main topic and some different strategies to overcome them. It was shared with them that everyone can be a target of bullying.
Miss Courtney Pelland was crowned in September and will be competing in the Miss Nebraska pageant in June. She is also currently a nurse at Fremont Health. Good luck to Miss Courtney Pelland and thank you for visiting Eisenhower!
