Free Summer Meals are Back Again for Kids in North Platte
Children ages 1–18 will be able to secure healthy lunch meals to get the nutrition they need. Summer is almost here, and it’s time to think about keeping children healthy and safe while school is out. The Summer Food Service Program is one way to make sure kids eat healthy meals to get the nutrition they need. This summer, lunch meals will be served at Cody Elementary School, 2000 West 2nd Street in North Platte. Lunch meals will be available Monday – Friday beginning June 1st and running through June 29th. There are no income requirements. Anyone ages 1 – 18 may come to eat a lunch meal at Cody.
