WCDHD is hosting a Teen Outreach Program after school on Wednesdays from 2:45PM-4PM starting August 20th. This program is for 6th-8th graders and will be held at the Rec Center. Participating teens will receive free admission to the Rec Center for the days they attend and snacks.

Important Update: Kids Klub Start Date Delayed

Due to recent changes in the federal budget and the nationwide impact on after-school programs, NPPS Kids Klub will require additional time to restructure our funding and program model in order to continue operating effectively.

As a result, our new start date will be Tuesday, September 2nd.

We will contact all accepted families—as well as those on our wishlist—by August 5, 2025, as previously scheduled.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we work diligently to keep the lights on after school here in North Platte.

North Platte FCCLA just wrapped up an unforgettable week at the National FCCLA Competition — and came home with some serious bragging rights!

Rebecca Keneip represented NPHS in Culinary Knife Skills Level 3. Bella Harwager earned a silver medal in Hospitality and Tourism Level 2. Emily Odle placed top 10 nationally and brought home a gold medal in fashion design level 2.

This was a great showing in their first appearance at nationals! NPHS FCCLA is heading home with medals, memories, and a lot of pride, and can’t wait to share their amazing experiences with our community! Congratulations to Mrs. Liz Odle and NPHS FCCLA!

Thursday is our last Summer Meal Pick Up! Thursday, June 10th, 2025, 11:30-1:00. Meal Pick Up is at Adams or Madison Middle Schools. Please enter back driveway into the parking lot of Madison off N. NPHS Mobile Food Pantry Tuesday, July 8! Please start the line outside the school parking lot next to the tennis courts. Do not come into the parking lot prior to the semi unloading of the distribution items. This is an open air, drive thru distribution. Patrons will drive their car through a line, and volunteers will bring boxed food to the car. Free of charge. 325 households will be served on a first come, first serve basis. The Food Bank of the Heartland sponsors the Food Pantry. #NPPSCanteenSpirit
