North Platte Public Schools is pleased to announce Aaron McCoy as its next Activities Director. Mr. McCoy graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with his bachelor’s degree in a Social Science Field Endorsement and a music minor. He then continued his education as he finished his master’s degree for a 7-12 Principalship. Mr. McCoy comes to North Platte with plenty of experience. During the past year, Mr. McCoy has served as the Principal at Bertland Community School. Previous to that, Mr. McCoy was at Overton where he taught, coached, served as Assistant Activities Director, and then Activities Director. Mr. McCoy has coached football, basketball, wrestling, and track from junior high remedial skills levels all the way to state champions. Welcome to North Platte Public Schools, Mr. McCoy!
