North Platte Public Schools

The North Platte Public School District’s Board of Education has elected to move to a committee of the whole. This provides an opportunity for the board to meet together, share ideas, and discuss items prior to the monthly regular Board of Education meetings. The Committee of the Whole will meet on the last Thursday of each month, starting January 25th at 5:30 pm, in the McKinley Education Center. These meetings are open to the public and will also be live streamed. There is no public comment at the Committee of the Whole meetings as no action items will be voted on. The traditional monthly Board of Education meetings will keep their usual format, and will remain on the second Monday of each month at 5:30.
