CONTROLLER 
Work under the direct Supervision of the Vice-President of Finance and Dean of Administrative Services. Responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting systems and procedures; analyzing and implementing internal controls and procedures; preparing financial reports; implement, maintain, and develop efficient payroll procedures; and establishing inventory control procedures. Assisting preparation of budgets and process of budget control. Serve in the stead of vice-president of Finance and Dean of Administrative Services in his absence. Perform related duties and direct related activities. Manage and supervise business office staff. (1985-1989)

STAFF ACCOUNTANT 
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the computerized accounting system, supervised the business office staff, immediate responsibility for the accounting system including the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory, account analyses, evaluation and implementation of policies and procedures, preparation of financial reports, and assisting controller in various accounting activities. (1982-1985)

ACCOMPLISHMENTS 
Developed and implemented a financial statement for North Platte Public Schools. This conforms to Governmental GAAP and state auditor’s requirements.
Implemented a classified staff handbook. This helped to organize and communicate accurate information on salary, benefits, hours, etc.
Controlled, organized and issued the information for negotiations with the faculty.
Coordinated the implementation of an online free/reduced lunch application form for the district.
Implemented Nebraska Department of Education’s computerized reporting formats. This format reduced processing time in computing and compiling information.
Monitor and control the investments for the school district.
Provide faculty and staff with assistance in the area of financial information.
