Dual Credit

Dual credit courses provide opportunities for high school students to take college-level courses and earn credits toward both a high school diploma and a college degree.

NPHS, in partnership with MPCC, offers 28 dual credit courses that can earn a student up to 80 college credits before graduating.

Dual Credit classes are taught by North Platte High School teachers during the school day who holds credentials to teach at the college level and has been approved by MPCC.

In order to earn college credit for these courses, students must apply with parent/guardian and counselor approval, pay dual enrollment tuition and earn a passing grade in the course.
